About DreamLog
This blog was born out of a deep regret over a lost dream.
One morning, I woke up carrying an extraordinarily vivid, intricate dream etched clearly in my mind—every scene, every emotion and subtle detail felt so alive and unforgettable. I was convinced I would hold onto this precious memory forever. However, when I went hiking in the hills that afternoon and tried to revisit that dream in my thoughts, every fragment vanished without a trace. Not a single scene, feeling or image remained. The crushing sense of loss lingered for a long while, leaving me grieved to have lost such a precious piece of my inner world.
That painful experience made me realize a profound truth: our lives are not only defined by the bright, bustling hours of daylight. The quiet nights spent asleep, and the vivid dreamscapes our minds craft after dark, are equally precious, irreplaceable chapters of our life journey. Our brilliance does not only unfold under the sun; the magical, boundless worlds we encounter in slumber belong uniquely to us, too. These nocturnal visions are an inseparable part of who we are, yet they fade away far too easily if left unrecorded.
Driven by this realization, I created DreamLog as a permanent archive to preserve every dream and sleep experience I observe and study. This space holds five categories of genuine, unfiltered personal records and research collections:
- Dream Logs: Detailed logs of ordinary dreams, recurring dream sequences, and lucid dream experiments filled with intact dream memories.
- Sleep Research: Authoritative sorting and academic analysis of sleep science, including sleep cycles, REM mechanisms, melatonin research, psychological interpretations of dreams, and evidence-based sleep knowledge from professional studies.
- Sleep Gear: Curated online collections of sleep-improving products, bedroom environment adjustments, bedding selections, and herbal tea guides. All content is information sorting and knowledge aggregation, without personal testing experience.
- Dreamless Sleep Log: Authentic tracking entries for nights with zero dream recall, alongside thorough analysis of contributing factors including melatonin intake, daily mental states, and bedroom environmental changes.
- Daily Good Things: A simple mindfulness journal where I record small positive happenings in daily life. Documenting tiny joyful moments helps balance negative emotions and maintains a stable, grateful mental state.
I keep updating nightly sleep observations, academic research sorting, and daily gratitude records consistently. I track how different environments, sleep-related knowledge, and daily moods may affect dreaming quality and overall rest conditions.
If you struggle with confusing dreams, frequent dream memory loss, unstable sleep quality, or simply wish to share your own daily positive moments, you are welcome to exchange unique experiences in the comment section.
